Domain Vault Silver offers enhanced domain security for all TLDs at a lower price point than our Titanium plan. It gives access to our specialist support, and all DNS changes are monitored by a small team of experts, with final say from our executive team on emergency access requests.
Currently, only the following TLDs are compatible with our Titanium plan: .com, .net, .cc, .name, .bar, .college, .fm, .protection, .rent, .rest, .security, .storage, .theatre, .xyz, .tickets, .car, .auto, .autos, .bond, .icu, .cfd, and .cyou.
Domains are protected by default, as Namecheap has all the necessary security measures in place. Consider this service as an extra layer of protection to give you peace of mind — not dissimilar to keeping your money in a bank account, or a precious family heirloom in a safe, instead of under the mattress.
You can trail Domain Vault for 30 days on one of your compatible domains. Subscriptions must be canceled before the end of the trial period, or payment will be taken. Only one trial can be claimed per account.
Domain vault plans are each designed for one domain. There are currently no plans to secure multiple domains, although we will introduce them soon.
An email is sent to you confirming we’ve started setting up the Registry Lock. This process can take up to 48 hours. Once the lock is enabled, we’ll send a confirmation email. Once you’ve received this, you can be sure that no unauthorized changes will be made to your domain, and you can take advantage of our specialist support team at any time.
